Frontline 19/20

"The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many." Mark 10:45

Vision
"To develop leadership, discipleship, and missiological skills in mature followers of Jesus Christ; equipping them with God's Word, ministry opportunities, and tenacity to live in God's world, that they might demonstrate and magnify the supremacy of Christ in all things."

Objective
Frontline exists to help students develop a servant's heart, that courageously lead others by serving in youth group, our church, the community, and the world. Moreover, they are increasing their understanding of Christ and His Gospel, and are actively developing new followers of Jesus Christ to be a part of His mission. Moreover, we aim to help Frontline students understand that the church is not divided into different 'departments', but connected on a larger scale, with the final goal to Make and Multiply followers of Christ that Magnify the glory of God.

Book
When Helping Hurts
by Steve Corbett & Brian Fikkert

"Poverty is much more than simply a lack of material resources, and it takes much more than donations and handouts to solve it. When Helping Hurts shows how some alleviation efforts, failing to consider the complexities of poverty, have actually (and unintentionally) done more harm than good. But it looks ahead. It encourages us to see the dignity in everyone, to empower the materially poor, and to know that we are all uniquely needy-- and that God in the gospel is reconciling all things to himself.  Focusing on both North American and Majority World contexts, When Helping Hurts provides proven strategies for effective poverty alleviation, catalyzing the idea that sustainable change comes not from the outside in, but from the inside out.
